Student feedback about Connecting to the Quran course:

I am a single parent to three children. I work part time from home, maintain my home and drive the kids to after school clubs and tuition. My own time is my one hour online Arabic class where my children don't disturb me Alhamdulillah. However, for the last two weeks just spending an hour or so with a friend and working on our Arabic together feels more constructive than my whole week! Seeing someone else understand lesson one completely made me appreciate how someone feels when they understand all the vocabulary and in disbelief they can't believe they understood all those words! Alhamdulillah I feel happy knowing someone else is benefiting as much as me. Alhamdulillah.

Feedback from one of this year's students:

'I started off learning Arabic at a red brick university, went to the University of Damascus and even Qasid. Every time I started Arabic I never completed any of the courses. Over the past years ( and I mean many many years) I used to ask Allah ta'ala to correct my intention and bless my heart with the love of the Qur'an and the Arabic language.

Alhamdulillah, the Qur'anic Arabic course came along and I feel maybe that my du'as have finally been answered. Thank you Allah and to Ustadh Idris for another opportunity, Alhamdulillah, never give up trying. For me, Arabic is like a du'a, I am at the door and keep asking and the fact that we are studying Arabic means we are making dua and our du'as are being regularly answered! That is my belief.'
